Via Antonio Fabro is a centrally situated Street in Turin, dedicated to the great jurist Antonio Fabro, well known in international jurisprudence as Antonius Faber. Antonius Faber was born in Bourg en Bresse in 1557, he studied literature and philosophy in Paris and law in Turin. He was lawyer in Chambery and judge in Bresse, Bugey and Valromey. In 1610 he was named President of Savoy Council.

He is author of one of the most precious sources of international law, the
Codex Frabrianus first published in Geneva in 1606. Among the others works: De erroribus pragmaticorum et interpretum iuris; Rationalia in Pandectas; Iurisprudentiaes papinianae scientia ad ordinem Intitutionum Imperialium efformata; Coniecturarum iuris civilis libri viginti, Antonius Faber died in Chambery in 1624.

At 6, via Fabro lived the late
Piero Gobetti with his wife Ada Prospero. Piero Gobetti was born in Turin on June 19th, 1901. At Liceo Gioberti he knew his future wife and when he was seventeen founded his first review "Energie Nuove". Liberal and opponent of the growing Fascism, on his reviews he hosted the ideas of Antonio Gramsci, Luigi Sturzo, Giustino Fortunato, Benedetto Croce, Eugenio Montale.

Often arrested by fascist police in 1923-1924, on
September 5th, 1925 was beated by a fascist company, who left him blessed on the house door. Forced to exile in France he died in Paris on February 15th, 1926.
The some address hosts now the
Centro Studi Piero Gobetti, founded in 1961, hosting a library about Nineteenth Century history and politics containing more than 65000 books, a newspaper library of 4400 titles and the professional Library of the philosopher Norberto Bobbio.
